The Grammy award winning pop singer was in south Florida kicking off her summer tour to promote her third album, “Loose.” Furtado performed at Hard Rock Live on Wednesday followed by an after party at Mansion’s International Wednesday party.

Apparently, Miami inspired Furtado so much, she’s using native vegetation as a setting for her stage show and has laced the production with “white linen palm trees.”

Unfortunately, I was unable to catch the show, but Evelyn McDonnell of the Miami Herald did and she thought the “show was curiously lacking in energy.” Oh, well, I’m still jammin’ to “Promiscuous.” These photos are exclusive shots of Furtado having her cake and eating it too!

So says Connecticut based Autovantage in their annual “Road Rage” driving survey. For the second straight year, Miami-Dade drivers top the list for being “boorish, aggressive, and dangerous” when behind the wheel.

According to the survey, sixty percent of the respondents said drivers here are “less courteous” than other places.

Where are the best drivers according to the survey? They are are tooling around Portland; Pittsburgh; and Seattle.

I-95 during rush hour is right up there with a tooth extraction, but that doesn’t make us the worst. I’ll take Miami traffic over New York City traffic any day.
