South Florida Boat Show Kicks Off Today

Friday, June 8th, 2007

Show2.jpgThe 14th Annual Boating event runs from June 8th through June 11th at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

The event organizers claim that “20,000 visitors will shop for their ‘dream boat’ from among hundreds of beautiful, new power boats up to 40 feet, priced from less than $5,000 to more than $250,000. ”

Personally, I don’t know how anyone affords the gas or the slip fees for boats anymore. With gas prices at a record high, a day on the water will run you hundreds of dollars. Geez.
